SEMI-HERMETIC WITH INNOVATIVE MOTOR TECHNOLOGY
The ECOLINE+ reciprocating compressors represent the next level of energy-efficient BITZER compressors. By using CO2 as a refrigerant in combination with LSPM motor technology and, optionally, with intelligent electronics, ECOLINE+ compressors enable the highest energy efficiency possible.
The semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors, which compress the refrigerant in two stages, are optimized for the low-temperature refrigeration range. Liquid subcooling significantly increases the cooling capacity and efficiency of the entire system.
With the built-in pre-programmed frequency inverter of the VARISPEED series, the speed can be infinitely adjusted, which increases efficiency and lowers energy costs. The built-in suction gas cooling of the frequency inverter increases operating reliability and reduces maintenance to visual inspections only.
Open-drive reciprocating compressors are available in two model series: for (H)CFC/HFC refrigerants and for ammonia. Due to the open-drive construction, standard motors can be attached to the compressor via coupling housing or belt drive. Reliability and easy maintenance have made them popular options for years.

The speed-regulated semi-hermetic compact screw compressors for use in industrial liquid chillers and heat pumps are true innovations. Thanks to the refrigerant-cooled frequency inverter, they achieve maximum efficiency particularly in part-load and thus the best ESEER/IPLV and SCOP figures.
