Overview

The Refrigeration Business Unit markets and supports the CAREL range of Refrigeration & Air-conditioning control products and systems, these being sold through our Refrigeration OEM and Contractor Partners throughout the country, and supported by experienced sales engineers in each of our branches. More recently we have expanded our refrigeration product range to include an extensive range of quality Refrigerant Gas Leak Detection Sensors from TQ Environmental incorporating Infra Red technology, providing the highest level of reliability and repeatability available to the industry today; HITACHI horizontal scroll compressors for OEM applications in the Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Industries, and SCOTSMAN Ice Machines for the Food Retail, Hospitality and Industrial sectors.

These include control products for Refrigerated/Heated Display Cases & Cabinets, Walk-in Coolrooms & Freezers, Compressor Racks Chillers & Heat-Pumps, AHU's, Condenser Fan Management, Energy Monitoring & Load Management Scheduling, Wireless Sensor technology and the new Carel E2V Electronic Expansion valves.

Supervisory Products

   

The Refrigeration B.U. also markets and engineers solutions using the Carel Supervisory Products PlantWatch-Pro & PlantVisor-Pro Embedded. These products are used in the Supervision and Telemaintenance of refrigeration systems, providing logging, alarming and local or remote management of complete refrigeration complexes. Using Window's Internet Explorer it is possible to network the information on a Local Area Network or access (with password protection) from anywhere in the world.

Retail Solutions (Supermarkets & C-Stores)

   

The Retail Solutions Division provides engineered solutions for Supermarket and C-Store refrigeration systems. These solutions incorporate standard & custom application of our Controls, Systems and Supervisory products, including customised store graphics for the PlantVisor interface. Our technology is also developing in the application of CO2 refrigeration systems controls for this market.

Icebell Drinks Display System
The new, easy to use , high impact drinks display system The open topped, distinctively shaped ‘soda bell’ glass style is designed as an eye-catching alternative
to the traditional chiller cabinets.

 The unit is filled with water which is made into ice and then recycled as it melts to re-form ice flakes, which emerge from the top of the unit and cascade down to chill the cans and bottles, pushed into the top of the Ice Bell. As
